Unless you are absolutely convinced keeping racing pigeons is for you, or especially if it's your children who wish to enter our wonderful hobby then we recommend you start with a simple one metre wide wall mounted nest box like the one illustrated.
This is a simple home made wooden, weatherproof box and will comfortably house one or two pairs of pigeons. Should you require help our members will be pleased to assist you.

This picture and the other one illustrate just what can be done with an existing garden shed demonstrating there is no need to purchase expensive purpose built lofts.

However, if you should decide you want to purchase a pre-built loft, once again our members will be able to offer experienced advice.
